MONTREAL: Family and Child Aide (Part-Time/Short Term/210 hours total)

Chai Lifeline Canada’s Montreal office has an immediate part-time and short-term opening for candidates up to 30 years-old funded via the federal Canada Summer Jobs program.

For over 15 years, Chai Lifeline Canada has been providing services and programs to children and families who are living with chronic or life-threatening pediatric illness. We provide care and love to families in need and in doing so we work beyond our roles with empathy, dedication and humility.

Family and Child Aide (Part-Time/Short Term/210 hours total)

Responsibilities

Assisting one or more families with help at home including:

  •  help with the children (supervision, play time, homework etc.)
  • various chores around the home
  • providing respite

Personal Attributes and Skills

  • Passion for the work of Chai Lifeline Canada and desire to positively impact our community
  • Experience working with children is an asset
  • Access to transportation to each family home
  • Qualified references
