Kingdom of Courage is a way for each child to feel a connection, and understand they are part of a bigger community while they are going through their own personal journey with illness.
The idea is to make this a very simple way for you or your child to “check in” for hospital visits. We on the back end in the Chai Lifeline office will then designate a colour coded Lego brick accordingly. At the end of the year we will take all these individual bricks that have been accumulated, and build a kingdom together.
The whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Each brick represents individual child’s bravery and experience.
As this is a pilot project please feel free to provide feedback! We are open to any ideas and suggestions to making this initiative fun and engaging!
