Have you always wanted to be someone’s superhero? Are you looking to make a positive impact while gaining professional development in Health Care? Chai Lifeline Canada is searching for students and graduates from Nursing faculties and programs to join our summer camp. Camp Lifeline is a camp run by Chai Lifeline Canada that welcomes and supports children dealing with various medical complexities. Camp Lifeline aims to create a safe and fun environment for all campers, while providing an incredible opportunity to create great memories with children who are dealing with medical complexities.

Responsibilities:
Review medical forms of campers to provide tailored health
Provide accurate and up-to-date documentation that follows CNO standards for all care provided and contact parents and/or guardians of campers as follow-up where necessary
Administer medication to campers when needed
Respond to all first-aid and emergency medical situations
Ensuring a sanitary environment by wiping down toy, tables and cleaning frequently
Be a part of the overall camp experience and participate in activities
Qualifications:
RN, RPN with the CNO or eligibility to apply for a Temporary Class Licence OR currently enrolled in 3rd/4th year of a nursing program (applicants who fit this description will be working under the guidance of a RN)
Standard First-Aid & CPR/AED or BLS (HCP) Certification
Clinical experience is an asset (1+ year)
Experience working in a health care setting with children and youth is an asset
