How You Can Help

HOW YOU CAN HELP

We know that the illness impacts not just the person who is sick, but their entire family. Chai Lifeline Canada services include support for siblings, parents and children.

There are a number of ways to donate.
Help Chai Lifeline Canada fight illness with love.

Be a part of the Chai family!

Our volunteers are the heart and soul
of Chai Lifeline Canada. It is our volunteers who help realize and maintain our programs and services including big siblings, events, rides, special deliveries and more!

A monetary gift allows our donors to lessen the acute financial impact of our clients and create a sustainable model for our dozens of programs and services that we provide. Commitments make life more manageable and will help Chai Lifeline to continuously provide the care and support our families need, when they need them.

Send a message of love and hope when you send a card in honour or in memory of a loved one or friend. Whether it be a celebration, a memorial card, or in honour of a fundraiser, your support can make a difference in the life of a sick child.

There are few side effects of chemotherapy as devastating as hair loss. For children and young people, it is even more heartbreaking since their feelings of self-worth are so heavily based on looking like everyone else. Fortunately, there is something you can do make their road to recovery a little easier.

Hair donated to Chai Lifeline is turned into wigs and hairpieces custom designed for each patient. By donating your hair you are bringing a smile back to a sick, young person’s face.

Sometimes you just want to run a fundraiser your way. Whether that's creating packages for a program, hosting a bake sale, running a car wash, or participating in a read-a-thon - the opportunities are limitless.

Utilizing our fundraising platform, you can create a page, share it with your friends and family, thank your supporters and tax receipts are all taken care of for you.

Give a Toy and share the Joy!

While children are cooped up in a hospital room for months on end, they can begin to lose site of the end of their journey. When you send a toy or gift card to a sick child or their sibling, you send a message of compassion, hope and care.
