As we are a shared service supporting ALL projects and initiatives across Canada, we need a clear understanding of the project so we can all agree on expectations in order to work most efficiently. This may sometimes require prioritization of requests based on importance and urgency.
Not everything is under the direct control of the Marketing team; some elements require working with 3rd parties (i.e. Rallybound/Neon page programming, printers, external designers, other partners/suppliers, etc). This may lengthen the timeline required to complete a project.
The more additions/changes asked for after we align on this brief, the more risk to the deadline being met. Not all changes/additions are as simple as they may seem. And some may not be warranted or help achieve the desired outcome.
Providing as much detail upfront, through this document and any planning discussions, will help us navigate all the complexities and come up with the best plan.
